I don't even know where to begin.

I don't even know where to begin.
I ordered the Workstream by Clownprice table top for sit stand height adjustable desk, 5ft black.
I ordered the product on May 9th. Their site says they have longer than usual shipping times /delays. Understandable, as covid has thrown a wrench into a lot of things for many other companies as well and many other places have the same disclosure on their site.
It took 4 days for this item to be processed and shipped. 4 freaking days. And not only did it take 4 days just to process and get the item shipped, it was shipped FedEx freight economy. That was 299.44 dollars. What kind of knuckle dragging process is this?
For 300 bucks, this should have shipped in 2 days max. But no, 4 days of "processing". Then shipped freight. So I ordered my product on the 9th, a Sunday. Thursday of that week it finally went out. I just received it today, May 25th.
I spoke with 2 FedEx employees and they both told me it was 43 lbs., and that there wasn't any reason this needed to be shipped freight. For 300 bucks, this should have been on my doorstep in 2 days.
I ordered it on a Sunday. No problem there, it's a weekend and they should enjoy time with their family or chillin at home. But no, it took until that Thursday to ship it then another 8 days, not including the weekends, to get to the town I live in. Not delivered, the town. Then I had to call FedEx and schedule a delivery since it was shipped freight.
The FedEx employee on the phone told me there wasn't any reason this needed to be shipped freight when I asked about it. So I had to wait another day to get my item since it was shipped freight and I had to have FedEx deliver my item at my job. Not on my doorstep, at my freaking job where I get to take the item home myself.
You'd think for 300 dollars, this would have shipped out in 2 days max and been on my doorstep 24 hours after. But no, I get to deliver my own item myself.
I have ordered multiple items from various websites since I ordered this. One item weighed 30 pounds more and was just as large as this package and I got it in 2 days. The other weighed 40 lbs and got it in 3 days from Canada.
This is ridiculous. Ordered on the 9th and received on the 25th for 300 bucks (not including the cost of the table to itself) . I don't know why these smooth brains shipped this as freight when 2 FedEx employees both told me there wasn't any reason this needed to be shipped freight.
A quick Google search on FedEx shows freight items are considered 150 lbs or greater. Tell me why a 43 lb desk table top was shipped freight again? Probably because they have Ronald McDonald doing the processing and shipping.
Other companies were hit hard with covid, yet are able to ship their products at a fraction of the price and at a fraction of the time. This tells me that's internal issues at Clownprice. Maybe they didn't issue the correct clown shoes? Or it could be a number of circus acts as to what's going on at Clownprice. You never know what will happen at a circus.
I'll never order another product from this backed up trailer toilet of a company. And I'm going to go full Karen sharing my experience on multiple sites to inform people of what you should expect.
I already tried leaving a review on the site and conveniently there's an error. I'll be screenshotting this review and copy and pasting to other sites to let people know what they are getting into with this dumpster fire.
Thanks for the desk table top I've been waiting on for over 2 weeks, Garbageprice. The box was damaged but the item was in good condition. And I still have yet to put it together since I had to have it delivered to my job because the turnip in charge of shipping decided to go with freight.
Thanks, but no thanks to the troglodytes at Clownprice. I'll avoid your company in the future. I wouldn't have had any problem with the shipping price if it was processed and shipped in a timely manner. This is beyond unacceptable for a business.
Alright, time to go share my experience on other sites.

All purchases are essentially "as is" as they do not respond to emails or inquiries

Edit:
Paul from Monoprice reached out to me personally to explain that they had some systems issues that had caused emails to go into a status "ether" for about a month. Their technical team was aware of it and they had workarounds in place to prevent the issue until it was resolved completely.
He notified me that they had, in fact, issued a credit the following day, but I had just not been notified of it.
Monoprice did handle the situation fairly and Paul was potent in deescalating any issue and restored my opinion of the company.

Monoprice customer service is non-existent. Don't bother sending emails in, because they will not be replied to. I purchased 10 Monoprice monitors, and before I even received them, they had already dropped the price 25%. I sent them 3 separate emails about refunding the difference and never heard back. I finally called, and the individual on the phone said they would speak to the proper department and get back to me. I never heard back from them. A follow up to the agent also was ignored.
If you won't even get a response after nearly half a dozen emails, I think it's safe to say any purchase you make is "as is."

Terrible website

Terrible website. They don't send what you order and they include weird things you didn't order - like food products. I didn't want it. Don't send me food when I order a cable.. ?

Package stuck in limbo for two weeks.

Ordered a security camera on February 16th for 3-5 days shipping, it shipped on the 18th and didn't get here until March 2nd. It departed and arrive at the same FedEx Facility for two weeks. Monoprice wanted me to wait until the end of day on March 1 to help me. It didn't show, but now because it delivered on March 2nd, everything is right in their eyes. I'll buy from someone reputable next time.
EDIT: Adjusting from 1 star to 3 after a representative reached out to me directly. I will consider using them as a vendor again in the future.

Extremely poor customer service, still withholding my money.

Ordered an Monolith amplifier back on 12/15. I receive an email shortly thereafter stating there are shipping delays. I email immediately afterwards and request order cancellation. 3 days later it ships anyways. The product then gets lost in shipping. I have been told on multiple occasions that it would be handled and I would be reimbursed. It is now 30 days later and I still haven't been credited back the funds. Horrible business practices and customer service. Sad I have to reach out and dispute charges with my credit card company when they should have done the right thing weeks ago.

Monoprice problem solving.

I am very pleased to say the issue I had written a negative review on has been resolved.
Monoprice has taken care of the problem, and I am very satisfied with the communication that I received.
I will very confidently purchase from Monoprice moving forward.

Sound Bar

I ordered a sound bar, that was supposed to be shipped with a remote power cord and audio cord.
I sent a request to get these items.
Now a week later I have not received a response or the items that were advertised to be shipped with the sound bar.
I have purchased the cords I needed to make it functional.
That will be the last order I EVER place with monoprice.
Poor customer service is bad!!!

Waiting For Monitor

Ordered a monitor from Monoprice through Target website. Placed my online order on November 27th.
Item was supposed to be delivered in December 7th. On December 9th tried to track item. Found out a label was created on November 29th. That's all, no activity on my order. Called Target, they sent an email on December 9th. Target representative said to wait for an email from Monoprice in 1 to 2 days. Never received an email, called Target back. They tried to reach out to Monoprice but was unsuccessful. Target representative send another email to Monoprice. Now have to wait another 1 to 3 business days for their response. Item is still available on Target website but now for a much higher price.

Horrific Customer Service

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I placed an order for a rather expensive computer for my husband as a christmas gift. Monoprice accidentally sent me a lesser model with a crappy case and cheaper/older processor. They offered a measly $200 refund, which to me was unacceptable. They also said I could return the mistake and they would replace it with the correct one when it was back in stock. So the item I ordered was never even in stock?! To add to this, they suggested I pay for shipping with insurance to cover theft or damages. They wanted ME TO PAY to fix their mistake. I have been arguing back and forth with their horrible customer service (which I actually think are just bots) for over a week with no resolution. Each time you reply to their service emails it creates a new service request and you have to wait for another response. I would expect more from a company when purchasing such an expensive item. I am wholly disappointed and frustrated with the lack of resolution. I worry my husband will not be getting this awesome Christmas gift at all at this point. Would NEVER recommend this company to any one.

12/11- After posting my original review, Paul from Monoprice personally reached out to me to explain the situation and what was happening on their end. He was extremely polite and professional, and was able to rectify the situation quickly. It should be noted that recent reviews about customer service are likely not taking into account decreased man power at Monoprice due to covid regulations. This is not something I had even thought of before it was mentioned by Paul. He was apologetic and accommodating, and I am happy to update my 1 star review to 4.

Scam / Fake

Positive: well its quite cheap and the website is working accordingly.
Negative: The goods I ordered never reached me. End of story. Enjoy.

Ordered UCB-C to Lightning Cable, got Cat-5

I ordered a UCB-C to Lightning Cable. They sent me a cheap cat-5 cable. There is no phone support, no email support. I used the Chat Support and it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to take a picture of the wrong product, upload to a website, so they can see it.
Update: they did reached out to me candidly, FedEx me two correct cables and did refund, which I did not bother to check for $10. I am updating from 1 star to 4 stars.
